Shiners and Teething Tablets...

...That pretty much sums it up around here...and it's only 7:47 am!

Siggy fell off my bed this morning and hit the end table on her way to the floor...just perfectly apparently, because she came up sporting this...

I'm sure it will be even more colorful this afternoon.

Lydia hasn't slept more than two hours straight for nearly a week, but now that everyone else is up and running (and I do mean running in the very literal sense of the word), she's been sound asleep for a full two hours and 15 minutes. And shows no signs of waking. Oh, sleep on, precious baby...

Of course, it might be because of this...

And because that seems to have worked so well, I'm thinking of giving everyone else some of this...

I'm only kidding (I think!), but it's days like today when even the coffee stands in the Seattle area are spread too far apart. "One on every corner" is simply not enough...I think one at the end of my driveway would prove quite useful!

I'm just super-thankful that this is our memory verse for the week...

...I'm off to face the rest of the day now...

Ouch! But that's a pretty familiar sight!

Poor Lydia, and poor mum too. These last 3 nights have been a nightmare for us too. Both Emma and Julia kept waking up continuously because they are sick. Flu, gastric and high fever, all together. What a cocktail huh?

Hope your little darlings are better now.

Dearest Sara - sounds like everyone is going through the wars! I hadn't appreciated in the photos you had posted previously just how much Siggy was like DC - it could be a picture of him with that lovely bump instead of Siggy!

I am also sure you are well aware that Lydia is the picture of you! She looks absolutely gorgeous - and not just because she is asleep, finally! You really got that 'having gorgeous kids' thing totally nailed my friend!

Remember today to go gently - on everyone, especially you!! It has been a tough few days for you, and if things have to be parked so that you all get and give the right amount of TLC - and things ending in '-ol' to get you all through, then just accept it's PJ's and cuddles for the rest of the week!

Sending you love and hugs (and arnica for Siggy's bump!)

Love, prayers and frienship to you dear Sara,

Fiona x

Oh how I remember the teething days...not fondly. And the shinners...well Kacey my youngest is not the most graceful so we still have a lot of bumps and bruises. I still drink a whole lot of coffe and what is bad is when they finally do fall asleep and you are on a caffine high. lol!

Have a blessed weekend! I hope everyone gets a few zzzz's

Wish I lived closer to drop off a large coffee!! Sounds like things are "active" to say the least. Poor Siggy.. that looks like it hurt. Big hugs to everyone!

Looks like you had your hands full yesterday. My oldest daughter was always getting into scrapes with bumps and bruises every where.

We sure missed you last night. I wanted to hold Lydia. I did get to hold Naomi though. Sure hope things go better for you today. Have a great weekend and hope to see you at Pam's next month.

Love,
Lanita

Love the verse, I cling to it often. I remember those days of teething, very painful for my little boy, along with ear infections! Davey NEVER slept, and oh tired I use to be...still am! I pray for you everyday!

I was just telling Fiona how I am so happy we don't have any more teething babies around here! Your poor little one!! Love that verse, it is also one of my favorites.

I think the memory verse sums is up nicely!

Teething and goose eggs aside, I hope the weekend went better. This too shall pass--but caffeine does help take the edge off ;-)

Oh those kind of days. Well you are certainly resourceful! That's the sign of a great mom! Hope the shiner is fading. :)

Is Lydia sleeping better now or is she just on constant teething tablets and Tylenol? :-)
