How Old Am I?

Sigourney had her hair cut today. After we got home from the salon, I wanted to take a picture. My precious fourth child DID NOT want to pose for the standard "cheese." She is having a birthday next month; can you guess how old she will be?

Some say it starts with 'Terrible"...

We don't believe in the 'Terribles,' but moments like these suggest why many do...

Of course, she had no objection to posing when she looked like this (we're all for color coordination around here, check out the matching eye hue)...

Because, after all, she wanted to demonstrate how eating a PB&J rice cake is really done...

The mommy of this soon-to-be whatever-year-old, was reminded that she should be careful when making a quick run for the bathroom while said child is eating lunch. Mommy might come back to find something that looks like this (who really likes rice cakes anyway? Fingers work just fine thankyouverymuch)...

But the hair is cute.

Oh my how adorable is she??? And eating a rice cake??? Is this the one with the food allergies? How precious. You have your hands full, but in a BLESSED way!! Hope you're doing okay with everything and looking above for your strength!!

Yes, Siggy is gluten intolerant (wheat, oats, rye and barley)so we have very creative ways of getting the old stand-bys into our diet!

Food allergies here, too, but different. Dairy, eggs, soy, peanut, cottonseed, orange and grapefruit for dd. Peanuts and tree nuts for me. Quaker rice cakes aren't even safe for us anymore since they are cross contaminated:-(

My youngest used to pitch hissy fits. She would get mad and literally throw herself backwards. I was worried she would knock herself out. The pediatrician told me to just ignore it. She got a couple of goose eggs in the process, but it took a long time for her to quit doing it.

Siggy is adorable--even with PBJ on her face! It matches her shiner to a T.

You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers☺♥

I think she looks lovely with her face all messed up! Of course I'm not the one who has to clean it up though...

Hi Sara,

You have got a serious cutie pie there even though she is ___ years old!! She is so photogenic!! Even covered with PB & J!!!

But now you've offended me...I LOVE RICE CAKES!!! REALLY!!! Plain ones with light salt!! I top them with about everything you could imagine, but my favorite is tuna salad. Mmm...Mmm...GOOD!! And no I'm not really offended!! Just jokin' with ya!!

Hope you have been feeling God's great love and care for you, friend!!

Have a fantastic Friday!!

How beautiful is your daughter!!! She looks so happy and bright - even when she is reserving the right to manage her own photo shoot!!

It is funny - here in Northern Ireland we would never in a million years eat PB&J in the same sandwich - although we know that it is an American institution for our dear friends over the water. Our J is Jam too, not Jelly, as I discovered on a trip to the US. Our Jelly is your Jello!! And don't get me started on the difference between crisps and chips!!

Siggy's hair is so sweet - and she looks like such a darling. You know that you are blessed, I realise that, but I hope she realises that she is blessed to, to have a Mom who doesn't try to cut her hair for her like mine did! I had some VERY FUNKY fringes growing up!!

Give her an extra special hug from Amelie and tell her we missed her on Saturday at the party!!
