I ASKED, HE GAVE
I asked for Strength...And God gave me Difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom...And God gave me Problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity...And God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work.
I asked for Courage...And God gave me Danger to overcome.
I asked for Love...And God gave me Troubled people to help.
I asked for Favors...And God gave me Opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted. I received everything I needed.

:) Isn't that always the way. How often do we feel we haven't been heard (something I am so guilty of, especially right now) but if we look back in times to come will we see the that what we were given was what we really needed?? It can be so tough to have enough faith to see these challenges as opportunities to grow with Him - your post is an incredible reminder of that. Hope you are having a good week!

I have seen this before and am always reminded of how God can work through all things. Thanks for sharing it again. It's great to know that God is still as awesome as ever!!!
It is hard for me to see while I am in the moment. Sometimes I don't see what God has done until many days, months, or years later. We are a microwave society and expect it now. I have learned God reveals to me what I need to know when I need it. Thank you for this reminder of how God gives us what we NEED.
